What is a game account?

An account listing is not a key. You are buying access to an account that already holds the game — most of this shelf is Steam, with Xbox, the EA App and Nintendo behind it — rather than a code you redeem on your own. It is how some titles are sold when no transferable key exists for them.

That difference is the whole reason to read before buying here, and it is why these listings show one final price with no struck-through original: an account is not a discounted copy of anything.

What to check before you buy an account

It does not go into your library. The game lives on the account you are buying, not on the one you already play on. Your friends, saves, achievements and existing games are not on it.

Check the publisher's terms. Most platforms do not permit accounts to be sold or transferred, and an account can be reclaimed or closed. This is the risk that makes these listings cheaper than a key, and it is the one worth pricing in.

Region. Every offer here shows its region, and an account is registered to one country. That affects what it can buy later and which store it sees.

Read what is included. Some listings are one game, others are a library or a bundle. The title says which, and on this shelf the difference is large.

How to buy an account sensibly

Compare it against the key first. If the same game has a key listing, price the two side by side. A key you own outright is worth paying more for, and often the gap is small.

Watch the price rather than the sale. Discounts run on a cycle, and an account that is 40% off today may be 70% off in two months. We record every price change we see, so each product page shows what it has actually cost over time rather than just what it costs now.

Prefer the seller with the better protection. On a product this dependent on the seller honouring it, the cheapest row is the wrong default.

We're not a store. We don't hold stock, we don't take payment, and we earn a commission when you buy through a link here — which never changes the price you pay.
