Terms of Service

Last updated 19 October 2026

1. About these terms

These terms govern your use of KEY-DEALS, the price comparison website at key-deals.com. They apply to everyone who visits the site, whether or not you create an account.

By using the site you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please stop using the site. Using it is free and entirely voluntary.

2. What this site is — and what it is not

We do not sell anything. KEY-DEALS compares prices that other shops publish. Every purchase you make is a contract between you and that shop, not between you and us.

We collect listings from third-party sellers and show them side by side so you can see what a game, key, gift card or subscription costs in different places. When you decide to buy, you leave this site and complete the purchase on the seller’s own website, under their terms and their refund policy.

That means we take no payment from you, we never hold or send an activation code, and we are not a party to your order. If a key does not work, if an order is not delivered, or if you want a refund, the seller is who you deal with. We will help you work out what went wrong where we can, but we cannot refund a purchase we did not take payment for.

3. Prices, availability and accuracy

Prices and stock come from the sellers themselves and change constantly. We refresh them regularly, but a price here is a record of what a shop was asking when we last read their listing — not a quote, and not an offer. Always check the price on the seller’s own page before you pay. If the two differ, theirs is the real one.

The same applies to everything else a listing carries: the edition, the region, the platform a code activates on, and whether it is a key, a gift or an account. We publish what the seller tells us. Check it on their page before buying — particularly the region, which is the most common reason a perfectly good code cannot be redeemed.

Prices are held in euro and converted for display into other currencies at an indicative rate. A converted figure is a guide, not the amount you will be charged.

4. How we make money

We earn a commission when you buy through a link on this site. It never changes the price you pay.

Many of the outbound links here are affiliate links. If you follow one and buy something, the seller may pay us a share of the sale. You pay exactly what you would have paid going to that shop directly; the commission comes out of the seller’s margin, not out of your pocket.

Commission does not buy position. Listings are ordered by price, and a seller paying us more does not move up. We do not accept payment to hide a cheaper offer, and if we ever order a list by anything other than price we will say so on the page where it happens.

5. Accounts

You can browse the whole site without an account. You need one only to keep a wishlist, or to leave a review or comment.

You can register with an email address and password, or by signing in with Google. Keep your password to yourself — you are responsible for what happens through your account. Tell us straight away if you think somebody else has access to it.

Give accurate details when you register, use one account per person, and do not pick a username that impersonates somebody else, belongs to somebody else, or is offensive. We may change or remove a username that breaks this.

You can close your account at any time. Section 12 explains what happens to what you have posted.

6. Reviews and comments you post

If you post a review, rating or comment, it is published on the site with your display name and avatar, and anyone can read it. You keep ownership of what you write. By posting it you give us permission to show, store and distribute it on the site, and to keep showing it if you later close your account.

You are responsible for what you post, and you confirm that it is yours to post and does not infringe anyone else’s rights. Do not post anything unlawful, abusive, hateful or deliberately misleading, anything that exists only to advertise something, or personal information about other people. Do not post the same thing repeatedly.

We may remove a review or comment, or stop you posting, if it breaks these rules. We do not read everything before it appears, so if you see something that should not be there, tell us at key-deals@outlook.com.

7. Things you must not do

Using this site, you agree not to:

  • copy, scrape, crawl or otherwise extract the listings, prices, price history or any other content by automated means, or reuse them commercially;
  • copy or reuse the site’s design, layout or source code, or frame, mirror or embed the site elsewhere;
  • run bots or scripts that generate requests to our servers;
  • try to reach any account other than your own, or any part of our systems you have not been given access to;
  • introduce malicious code, or do anything intended to disrupt, overload or damage the site;
  • create multiple or fictional accounts, or share your account with anybody else;
  • interfere with how outbound links are attributed — for example by injecting, replacing or stripping referral parameters;
  • use the site in a way that breaks the law, or these terms.

Separately, and because our partner programmes hold us to it: if you promote this site anywhere, do not bid on sellers’ brand names in paid search, do not use cookie stuffing or any other artificial attribution, do not offer rewards in exchange for clicks, and do not invent discount codes. We are required to pass these obligations on, and a breach puts the site’s partner relationships at risk.

8. Our content, and other people’s trade marks

The site itself — its design, layout, source code, the way listings are organised, our price history and our written descriptions — belongs to us or our licensors. You may read it, and print parts of it for your own personal use. You may not republish or redistribute it without our written permission.

Game titles, cover art, screenshots, trailers, console names, shop names and logos belong to their respective owners. They appear here to identify the products and sellers being compared. Nothing on this site is a claim to those rights, a licence to use them, or an endorsement of this site by their owners.

If you believe something here infringes your copyright, email key-deals@outlook.com with “Copyright” in the subject line and enough detail for us to identify the material and your claim to it.

9. Age

You must be at least 16 to create an account here. If you are under 16 you may still use the site, but please do not register, and ask a parent or guardian before giving anyone your details online.

Some products listed here carry publisher age ratings. We show the rating where we have it, but we do not verify anyone’s age and we are not the seller — the shop you buy from is responsible for any age checks on the purchase itself.

10. Links to other websites

This site is largely made of links to other websites. We have no control over those sites, their content, their prices, their security or their privacy practices, and we are not responsible for them. Read the terms and privacy policy of any shop before you buy from it.

Pages here also load content from third parties — cover images from sellers’ servers, and video trailers from YouTube. Our Privacy Policy explains what that means for your data.

11. Availability

The site is provided as it is and as it is available. We do not promise that it will always be reachable, that it will be free of errors, or that every price and detail is correct at the moment you read it. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of it, including features you use, without notice.

12. Suspension and closing accounts

We may suspend or close your account if you break these terms. Where the problem is not serious or urgent we will tell you what the issue is and give you a chance to put it right first. Where it is serious — fraud, attacks on the site, repeated abuse — we may act immediately.

You can close your own account at any time. When an account is closed we delete the profile and the wishlist attached to it. Reviews and comments you have already posted may stay on the site, because removing one side of a conversation makes the rest unreadable; ask us and we will take your name off them or remove them.

13. Our liability

Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law — including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, and any consumer rights that cannot be signed away.

Beyond that: because this site is free to use and we are not the seller, we are not liable for losses arising from a purchase you make elsewhere, from a price or detail here being out of date, from a code that does not work, from a shop failing to deliver, or from a platform banning or restricting your account. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for lost profit, data or goodwill.

None of this affects your rights against the shop you bought from. Those are yours in full, and across most of Europe they are substantial.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms — when the law changes, or when the site gains or loses a feature. The date at the top shows when the wording last changed. Where a change is significant we will say so on the site, and if you have an account we will email you before it takes effect. Carrying on using the site after that means you accept the new version.

15. Contact

For anything to do with these terms, your account, a listing that looks wrong, or a complaint, email key-deals@outlook.com. We read everything and aim to reply within a few days.
